Ty Hedfan is a new house completed August 2010. Local firm J Osborne & Sons from Builth Wells built the house and the stone mason was our neighbour on the other side of the river.
The house won a Royal Institute of British Architects award in 2011. It also went on to be shortlisted for the Manser Medal (best new house) and Stephen Lawrence Prize (best building under £1 million).
The house was featured on the BBC Culture Show for the Stirling Awards Night Programme.
